What is Tucson Derby Brats?
The Tucson Derby Brats were the 1st junior derby league to be formed in the US. Started in 2006 by young fans of Tucson Roller Derby, we consist of skaters between the ages of 8 and 17 who skate flat track roller derby. As JRDA members we play in Tucson as well as other parts of the country and enjoy competitive engagement with a host of other youth derby teams. We are a non -profit volunteer run team, comprised of our youths, parents, and volunteers, dedicated to creating a quality athletic program.
* We can start training skaters at age 7 but they cannot do contact till they age up.
There are now over 144 junior flat track leagues worldwide. :)
